Valencia acoge el congreso mundial del agua ‘Wex Global 2020’

¿Cuál es el mejor camino para conseguir las soluciones más inteligentes para lograr un mundo más sostenible? Esta es alguna de las cuestiones que se plantearán estos días en la 14 edición de Wex Global el evento más importante del sector del agua y que se reúne esta semana en Valencia.

La consellera de Innovación del Gobierno Valenciano, Carolina Salvador, inauguró junto con Jaime Barba, CEO de Idrica el congreso que da cita a las personalidades más influyentes y relevantes de la industria del agua. La consellera aseguró que es muy importante abordar soluciones inteligentes y respuestas a los retos que se plantean sobre el agua y la economía circular. Y que, es compromiso de todos, el mantener el planeta y hacer que nuestro entorno no se degrade y que en este proceso podamos participar todos.

Dionisio García Comín, CEO de Global Omnium,destacó que están «muy orgullosos de acoger este evento de gran nivel que le da prestigio en la ciudad mostrando además todo lo que somos, estamos a la vanguardia tecnológica en el mundo del agua». «Conocer lo que se hace en otros sitios, aprovechar esas experiencias y enseñar a la gente que viene de todos los continentes para que conozcan cómo se hacen aquí las cosas», dijo.

Jaime Barba, CEO de Idrica, afirmó que este congreso «es de los más importantes del mundo y que ha rotado ya por varios países y es un honor acogerlo en Valencia». «El objetivo de Wex Global es abordar las soluciones a los retos y necesidades que tienen las empresas empresas del ciclo integral del agua y en Idrica tenemos esas soluciones. Además es una extraordinaria oportunidad para que conozcan en primera persona cómo aplicamos esas soluciones en Valencia que es donde nació toda la tecnología que tenemos», afirmó.

Por su parte, Muntsa Cuchi responsable de la organización de Wex Global, resaltó que están encantados con la elección de «esta gran ciudad que es Valencia para celebrar nuestro congreso en el que vamos a tener oportunidad de abordar todas las innovaciones que se están planteado entorno al objetivo de lograr un entorno más sostenible» y aseguró que la gestión del agua en la ciudad de Valencia «es una caso muy positivo en este sentido al que vamos a dedicarle tiempo y atención estos días».
