Accelerathon was founded to turn environmental and societal challenges into scalable ventures through European Union funds.
We connect corporations and public authorities with high-impact startups to co-design winning proposals under LIFE, Horizon Europe or Interreg.
The 4 Methodology Phases
A fast-track, structured framework running 4 to 12 weeks.
Challenge Definition
Identifying the core challenge with partner entities and publishing open calls.
Registration & Training
Onboarding applicants, EU instruments masterclasses and mentor matching.
Competition & Demo Day
Pitching before an international jury and selecting the winning solution.
Acceleration Ticket
Drafting and submitting the full grant application to the selected European call.

The program is embedded under the European Commission Startup Europe initiative (DG CONNECT).
Developed and operated by Finnova Foundation, a leading Belgian-Spanish foundation for European innovation.
